Chris: Hello and welcome to Sunday Outside with Chris Stark and Peter Crouch! I'm Chris Stark and as always, I'm here with the one and only Peter Crouch. How are you, mate?
Peter: I'm good, Chris! Excited for our New Year's Eve episode today.
Chris: Yes, it's a special one, as it's the last day of the year. And speaking of New Year's Eve, do you have any big plans for tonight?
Peter: Not really, mate. Just going to spend some quality time with the family and maybe catch the fireworks at midnight. How about you?
Chris: Well, my plans are a bit up in the air at the moment. You see, Erin, my 8 year old daughter, and Charlie, my 3 year old son, are determined to stay up until midnight to see in the New Year. But I'm not sure if they'll make it!
Peter: Ah, the classic dilemma of parents on New Year's Eve. Do you have any traditions to help keep them awake?
Chris: We do, actually! We always have a big family dinner and then play some games together to pass the time. And of course, we have to watch the countdown on TV and toast with some bubbly (well, sparkling water for the kids!).
Peter: Sounds like a lovely way to ring in the New Year. I'm sure Erin and Charlie will do their best to stay awake, especially with all the excitement of the night. And hey, even if they don't make it to midnight, it's all about the memories you're creating as a family.
Chris: Absolutely, Peter. And I couldn't agree more. Well, let's sign off for now and go enjoy the last day of the year with our loved ones. Listeners, we hope you have a fantastic New Year's Eve and we'll catch you next time on Sunday Outside. Happy New Year!
