The speed limit on a stretch of the Pennsylvania Turnpike is now 70 mph.
By next year, the entire 500-mile stretch of the Turnpike and sections of other interstates in Pennsylvania could see the higher speed limit, state officials said.
But now that the faster speeds are legal on stretches of highways, more vehicles are likely to be moving at that speed.
