WrestleMania 39 promises to be one of the most hotly anticipated events in WWE history, as Roman Reigns looks to extend his title run and reclaim the WWE Universal Championship from Cody Rhodes. The storyline surrounding Roman Reigns has been building up for months, and next weekend the Hollywood superstar will attempt to reclaim the title in a match that is sure to live up to its historical hype. Roman Reigns is no stranger to championship titles, having held the WWE Universal Championship twice before. But this time it will be Cody Rhodes who stands in his way.
The highly anticipated Wrestlemania 39 is just five more episodes away, and the WWE programming heading into the event has been nothing short of incredible. Champion Roman Reigns, the undisputed Universal Champion, will be defending his title against Cody Rhodes in what promises to be an epic showdown. This match-up was confirmed during night two of the Wrestlemania 39 show and it will definitely be an explosive main event on night 2.

Gunther has been a rising star in pro wrestling and he has shown his desire to run with the top stars of WWE by challenging Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.
Wrestlemania 39 marks the long-awaited return of Gunther and amidst reports of a heated feud between him and Randy Orton for the Wrestlemania weekend edition, many WWE stars were abuzz with anticipation. Fans could hardly contain their excitement when it was announced that coming to Randy Orton’s name to Smackdown, there will be a battle royal in which Gunther will attempt to win the giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy.
This battle royal will be the lead up to Wrestlemania 39 and it will decide who will be the former WWE champion. Bray Wyatt is one of the fighters that fans are looking forward to seeing in action at WrestleMania 39. He has been a mainstay in WWE for years and he is always a fan favorite. His feud with Bobby Lashley has been ongoing for a while now and the two have had several matches over the years, culminating in what may be one of the strangest matches ever at WrestleMania 39. Previous reports have indicated that Bobby Lashley will face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39 and this match has been scheduled for some time now.
However, WWE has decided to switch up their WrestleMania plans and give Randy Orton the opportunity to salvage a WrestleMania spot. This decision has led to a flurry of speculation and rumors as to who will be added to the WrestleMania 39 card. The most likely candidate is Cody Rhodes, who was previously rumored to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38 but was unable to due to injury. Now that he is healthy, there is a chance that he could return for WrestleMania 39 and fill the vacant spot on the card. Additionally, another surprising choice for this spot could be Bobby Lashley vs. Seth Rollins in a 3-way match with Bray Wyatt also involved.
WWE Women's Division has been the highlight of WWE programming for quite some time now, especially on SmackDown. The SmackDown Women's Title has seen Bianca Belair become the champion of the blue brand, and WWE is now looking to determine who will be her challenger at WrestleMania 39. At first, it seemed that Charlotte Flair would be the one to challenge her for the title at Mania, however after Raw's Rhea Ripley challenged Champion Belair, a scheduled Elimination Chamber match was announced.
On the Smackdown side of things, a few weeks ago, WWE found it's rival promotion, Elite Wrestling and as a result, Cody Rhodes was established as the head of the promotion. This would secure Cody Rhodes spot in the main event at Wrestlemania. After winning the Royal Rumble match, he was able to secure his spot in the main event at Wrestlemania 38 and 39. Cody Rhodes is the first member of his family to become a Rumble winner and with that win comes an automatic spot in the main event of Wrestlemania. With that win, he secured his place at Wrestlemania 39 and will face off against Raw's Rhea Ripley for her choice of either Raw or Smackdown Women's Championship at Mania.
The major Wrestlemania 39 moment came when Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn made a surprising move and joined forces to take the WWE Tag Team Titles from the Usos. This marked the first time ever that two former Undisputed WWE Champions were teaming up in a Tag Team match. The two weeks leading up to Wrestlemania were filled with anticipation as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn took on the challenge of defeating the Usos for the tag titles. As they faced off against each other, it seemed that their differences would prevent them from forming any kind of alliance, but then something unexpected happened – they hugged. This was a sign of their respect for each other and an indication that something was about to change between them.
