This object appears to be a regular toilet, but emanates a strange aura and produces a constant humming noise. Anyone who sits on the toilet will enter a state of extreme euphoria, and the longer they stay on it, the more detached they will become from reality. ? !Announcement! ? I and Britt have been working on Level 257 these days, and it'd be awesome when it comes out! The Haganrich Tombs Hallway leading to one of the Haganrich brothers' tomb The Haganrich Tombs are one of the more dangerous tombs that wanderers will find themselves trapped in. As is the fashion with most other areas, the entrance and exit to this area are blocked off as soon as the wanderer sets foot inside. Like the other dungeons and areas, wanderers must solve a puzzle to exit this dungeon. This one, however, contains 3 merciless, feared brothers. The Haganrich brothers were born thousands of years ago in the town of Summermount during the time when the Divided Nations were whole. These brothers and their father were the biggest influence that tore the nations apart. The Haganrich brothers were born into a wealthy family. Their father was the right-hand man of the late King Rainerius Consort, which kept him, as well as his three boys, out of trouble. The brothers quickly began ruining their family name further by robbing and stealing from anyone that even dared to look at them. Their real reign of terror began when King Rainerius Consort fell ill due to "unknown" means, after which he appointed Letholdus Haganrich as the new King. King Letholdus quickly made his sons his own personal judge, jury, and executioner. Villagers and civilians quickly began taking sides. The rich supported the King and his sons while the poor were left to rot. Wars began and millions were killed, mostly by the three brothers. King Guillemot Margrave from the town of Brittlevale was quickly made aware of the tyranny in Summermount, and after sending legions of highly trained guards to "relieve" King Letholdus Haganrich and his sons of their duties with no success, he decided it was time to take matters into his own hands. He publicly mocked King Letholdus and his sons, causing more and more people to take sides. Kings from neighboring towns became aware of what was going on between the Kings and their people, then the real war began. Some Kings took up arms in support of King Guillemot, while a few others joined forces with King Letholdus. Tomb belonging to one of the Haganrich brothers After decades of war and millions upon millions of lives lost, King Letholdus and his sons finally fell to dark magic from King Guillemot and his supporters. King Letholdus was cut into several pieces and buried deep within different parts of The Divided Nations and his sons faced the same fate, but they were locked in three separate chambers within a very large and very old dungeon that is now known as The Haganrich Tombs. The tomb was well hidden for hundreds of years, until a few passionate and lucky necromancers managed to zero in on its location. They spent weeks breaking into the tomb and even longer performing ritual after ritual after they reassembled the brothers and attempted to bring them back to life. On the 14th of Sekuhl, three necromancers by the names of Famien Payne, Wizius Shadowend, and Preigrim Mallus successfully performed the Depresortis Intimem ritual and rose the Haganrich brothers from their graves. The necromancers kneeled at the brothers' feet, but were promptly made aware of the error of their ways as they were mercilessly slaughtered by the brothers. Unknowingly to the now undead Haganrich brothers, the necromancers put a charm on the exits of the tombs that prevented the brothers from leaving until the necromancers broke it. The charm remains active to this day and traps the Haganrich brothers within their tomb. Soon after these events took place, word spread amongst villagers of the Haganrich tomb being disturbed and rumors began circulating that the brothers were back from the dead. Fear and accusations spread across neighboring towns and villages like wildfire until King Theophilos Margrave, a direct ancestor of King Guillemot Margrave, quickly shut down these rumors and told his people to go back to their happy, peaceful lives as he dispatched a few groups of guards to the Haganrich tombs. Only one of his guards returned and he was out of his mind with grief, trauma, and fear. He spoke of mountainous monsters that hold no mercy for the living and will not rest until they're free from their prison once again. He watched as his fellow guards were ripped apart and slain and was barely able to escape with his life. King Theophilos was growing tired of the rumors and the rising danger that the Haganrich tomb presented for him and his people, so he hired a few powerful necromancers to create a second, stronger seal that the brothers would never be able to break through. One of those necromancers by the name of Razagri Maan happened to study the Haganrich brothers and upon entering the tomb, attempted to perform a different ritual to sacrifice his friends to the brothers. The other necromancers became wise to this and a fight broke out that left two of them dead and one gravely injured. Knowing he was too hurt to leave, he performed the difficult and taxing ritual on his own and sealed the brothers away, with him still trapped inside, for the rest of time. The book containing the code wanderers need to translate This is where their story ends and where the wanderer comes in. Wanderers that enter this level will be able to feel the presence of the brothers roaming around their tombs. Each room the wanderer enters, they will need to solve a puzzle in order to progress through the following rooms and make it to the tombs. In the first room, there will be a book hidden somewhere. The book moves frequently, so its location is completely random. Some wanderers found it buried under rubble, while others found it just sitting on the floor or sitting in a high place. Very rarely, the book will be invisible to the wanderer until they cast Vision of the Tenth Eye in order to reveal it, though this has been the case for wanderers who tend to try to cheat their way through a number of dungeons. Once wanderers manage to locate the book, they must decipher a code in order to unlock the door. There will be words on the door that reads "Memitni Sitroserped" with a series of symbols underneath it. The wanderer must translate those letters into symbols and push the corresponding symbols on the door in the correct order. The book is very important as it contains the information needed in order to solve the code. Wanderers will be unable to progress through the tombs if they do not find the book. Once pushing the correct symbols in the correct order, the door will open and wanderers will be able to progress through to the next room. If wanderers push an incorrect symbol, it's likely others will be finding the wanderer's body as spike shoot out from the door in an attempt to gouge whoever is attempting to break into the tombs. The next part is where the wanderer will encounter their first boss fight. The gems the wanderer must collect The next room is the tomb of Ranulphus Haganrich, the third born son of Letholdus Haganrich. Wanderers must deafeat Ranulphus in battle before being able to enter, but that isn't as easy as it seems. As the wanderer begins attacking Ranulphus, they'll notice that he isn't taking any damage. This is because all three brothers have a charm on them that keeps them from arm as long as the charm is active. The wanderer must break the charm in order to kill Ranulphus and be able to move on. The charm is kept in place by a series of gems that are hidden around the room. The wanderer has to find all five of these gems and smash them before being able to cause damage to Ranulphus. Once they find all of the gems and smash them, Ranulphus will be able to be killed. Once Ranulphus is dead, the door at the other end of the room opens and the wanderer is free to move on, though they should be sure to loot the room for any valuable weapons or resources. The loot is random, but some wanderers have found battleaxes and even wands. This next room involves another kind of puzzle, but the wanderers don't need to find a book or translate anything. This time, the wanderer must trust their own instincts over anything else. There will be three people in this room that always seem to be in the middle of an argument. When the wanderer walks in, the men will turn and seem relieved that someone is there to help them. With their weapons drawn at each other, they're accusing each other of stealing a pouch full of Nummi that was supposed to be for all of them. They will each share their own piece of the story with the wanderer and the wanderer must decide if the two men are lying, or their friend. The wanderer will want to pay very close attention to what each person says to them, as they give the wanderers clues on how to solve the puzzle in the next room. Their dialog is as follows: "I was sleeping and woke up to see Nyann rifling through the bags. He was looking for the Nummi pouch while we slept. He's been eyeing it since the second we found it. He thinks that since he's poor he can do whatever he wants. That isn't how it works. He tried to get out of it by claiming he saw a Phoenix and wanted to look for something to catch it. What a load of shit. He's just jealous he isn't as smart or handsome as Rem and I." "He's lying! I didn't steal anything! I was sleeping until they woke me up and started accusing me of stealing Nummi. I would never steal from my friends, but they don't believe me! You have to help me! I can even tell you what I was dreaming about. A dragon was chasing someone through some dead-looking, barren landscape. It looked so real too. I swear, I didn't steal anything. Not from them." "Nyann is the who's lying. We were just trying to relax, but he had to ruin everything like he always does. No one trusts him. That's why he's with us. No one else would dare travel with this untrustworthy son of a bitch. And, it wasn't a phoenix he said he saw. It was a Wendigo. Just because he's handsome and his dad used to be a King, he thinks he can get anything that he wants." The second set of gems the wanderer must collect Once the wanderer figures out who was lying, the men disappear and the door on the other side opens, allowing the wanderer access to the next boss, Cristofre Haganrich or the middle brother. Cristofre Haganrich is much stronger than his younger brother and is under the same charm. The wanderer again must find another sequence of 5 gems in order to be able to kill Cristofre Haganrich. These gems are different colors and a different shape than the first set and are much harder to find. Wanderers must find them quickly while avoiding Cristofre Haganrich, as he pursues the wanderer through the room the entire time. Luckily, Cristofre is slower than his other brothers, so avoiding him shouldn't be too difficult, though killing him will be a different story. Wands are very useful here as they allow wanderers to deal a great amount of damage while keeping a safe distance. Once wanderers manage to kill Cristofre, the door will open and allow wanderers access to the final puzzle room of the Haganrich Tombs. The floor puzzle in the final puzzle room This room is the most dangerous, besides the tombs themselves, as with just one misstep, wanderers set off a trap that ignites the air in the room which instantly kills anyone inside. This room involves a floor puzzle in which wanderers must step on the correct tiles to make it to the other side of the room. Many wanderers have lost lives here due to seeing the open door on the other side and attempting to sprint for it. There are no clues found anywhere in this room that will give wanderers any indication to which tiles they should step on. The only clues for the correct tiles are what was said to the wanderer in the previous puzzle room from the three men. As stated above, there are no hints or clues in this room and one wrong step means death, so the wanderer better pray they listened to the men as they carefully make their way across the room. Once reaching the open the door, the wanderer can once again walk freely, though they are far from safe. At this point, the wanderer enters the tomb of the final brother, Althalos Haganrich is the oldest and final brother wanderers will be forced to kill before being allowed to exit the tomb. Althalos Haganrich is the hardest brother to kill. Althalos is extremely strong with over 5000 HP and walks much quicker than the previous brothers. The final set of gems the wanderer must collect Searching for the gems to break his protection charm will be very difficult. In addition to Althalos's speed, the gems will vanish and reappear somewhere else in the room if the wanderer tries to grab it too quickly. A good deal of wanderers underestimate how quickly Althalos can attack when their back is turned and their ability to grab the gems before they can disappear, resulting in many deaths and game overs. Again, using a wand is the wanderers best course of action so they can keep their distance. Althalos is known to have a large blade at his dispense and is very proficient at wielding it. Having a shield would be a good idea as well, though if it's weak, wanderers are advised not to attempt to use it as Althalos's blade can shatter weak shields with just one hit. Rarely, Althalos Haganrich possesses magical abilities that make this boss fight much more difficult, though these wanderers were proven to have cheated at least twice before encountering the Haganrich Tombs. Once Althalos Haganrich is finally dead, the door opens and wanderers are finally free to leave the Haganrich Tombs. Wanderers are advised to search the entire room for loot before leaving as valuable wands and Nummi have been found pretty frequently after defeating Althalos Haganrich.
